Google's Pixel phones are hacked just in 60 seconds.

Google's Pixel and Pixel XL are one of the best creation by Google till now. It vigorously compete with Apple iPhone , especially if it comes to taking photos and videos.

This month only director of Android security at Google, Mr. Adrian Ludwig said to Motherboard that Pixel phones are as secure as iPhones.

"For almost all thread model, Pixel and iPhones are nearly identical in terms of their platform-level capabilities", said Ludwig.

Well according to The Register, a group of Chinese white hat hacker hacked Pixel phones in just 60 seconds. They hacked these phones in PwnFest hacking competition held at Seoul on Friday.

The hackers worked at a security solution company Qihoo 360 won $120,000 after showing the exploit which give remote access of users phone along with their personal data as call, phone, messeges, etc.

Google is reportedly patching the exploit along with the previous holes.

Google's open source methodology increase the vulnerability to be hacked.

Google Play Store Updated. Chech the new features here!

Google Play Store have always been a biggest market of android application. However, to increase the user-friendly environment and informative environment, Google always add new features in Play Store.

Recently, Google announces the release of new version of Play Store labelled as 7.1.16.I-all. This version of play store is not beta version, so it will automatically installed in Android phone's users.

Here are list of some new features added in play store.

1. Improved Spam Detection and Fraud System:

For stopping the fraudulent behavior done by developers Google enhances its spam detection technique. This features benefits the users a lot as it stop users to be a victim of fake application. Google also stop developers who show fake user rating and reviews to user. The developers whose application continue its manipulative behavior, their apps get kicked out from the store.

2. Free App-registration for Upcoming Apps:

It is one of the best feature in the new update. Now users can free register the app from their favorite developers. This good features for developer too, as developer can now see how much users are interested in their apps. The users can regularly receive alert about their registered applications. 

3. Trying Beta-apps by Early Access Feature:

 This is a helping feature for the developers who want to test their apps before the official launch. Using "Early Access" section users now can use those apps which are in still in beta phase and give feedback to the developers.

4. Enhanced Search Experience:

Now users can see more app categories on the play store.These are Art and Design,Auto and Vehicles, Beauty, Dating, Events, Food and Drink, House and Home and Parenting. Some of categories are also renamed as for example 'transportation' renamed as 'Maps and Navigation' and 'Media and Category' as 'Video Player and editor'.

Woah! Hyperloop ready on its first run.

We had already encountered about building a super transporting facilities on Jebel Ali  Airport, Dubai by Hyperloop One,back in August. But recently Hyperloop One dropped a video(watch below) that clearly indicates their ideas. Dubai, one of the fastest and rich growing city of the world, partnered with Los Angeles based, Hyperloop One to change the transportation system of the state. They already examine possible lines going to the United Arab Emirates's capital Abu Dhabi, and elsewhere.

At a presentation on 1st Nov, 2016, Hyperloop One suggested such network could include an undersea tunnel connecting Abu Dhabi to Dubai,Qutar, with a trip time of just under 22 minutes.


The Dubai Future Foundation's CEO, Saif al-Aleeli, hosted a competition for design related to high-speed system known as hyperloop. He said,"Imagine that you can live in Riyadh, work in Dubai, have your dinner in Abu Dhabi and watch movie in Qatar."

It is unclear that how much a regional hyperloop would cost- or who would pay for it a time when Gulf budget are strained by low global oil prices.

Next product of Samsung on the line of recall after Note 7.

Something is not happening with Samsung right now. Company is facing very big very big crisis now. After recalling Galaxy Note 7 from around the world, Samsung now recalling 2.8 million washing machine after regular complaint .

According to US Consumer Product Safety Commission(CPSC), the washing machine top can unexpectedly detach from the washing machine chassis during use, posing a risk of injury from impact.

On Friday Samsung state that the action was driven by reports highlighting the risk that the drums in the washers may loose balance, triggering excessive vibration, resulting in the top separating from he washer.

The recall include 34 models of Samsung top-laid washing machine as reported by CPSC.

Till date Samsung has received 733 reports of washing machines having excessive vibration or top detaching from the washing machine chassis. The reported injuries include a broken jaw, injured shoulder , or fall- related injuries.

CPSC also added that consumers can choose either a free in-home repair that includes a free one-year extension of the manufacture's warranty or a full refund for the consumers who purchased their washing machine within the past 30days of recall announcement.

Google search method will change, priorities mobile searches.

With increasing in mobile devices and number of searches from mobile devices search-engine gaint Google decided to change their seaching algorithm. Google decided to give more priority to mobile search than the desktop search. 

Previously, it was reported that company will going to create entirely different mobie index for searching. But, now company had confirmed that they will use same index for searching. With this changes, Google will rank the page depending upon mobile based content.

This change in searching is very useful for user but not for the developers. As Google give priority to mobile sites the desktop websites who earned high ranking now have to loose their position and will come down in ranking.

As told by Google project manager, Doantam Phan said,"Although our search will continue to be single index pf website and apps our algorithm will primarily use mobile version of site's content to rank pages to understand structured data, and to show snippet from those pages in our result. "

According to Phan it will take some time to implement this change. Google have given some suggestions for developers to make few changes to website:
● make sure to structured markup for both mobile and desktop version of sites.
● use the txt testing tool to verify that your mobile version is accessible to Googlebot.
● sites need not to make change in their canonical links.

Android wins the race, as 9 out of 10 smartphone shipped runs on android.

Android makes a massive up in market by gaining 88 percent of all smartphone shipped in year 2016. The growing demand and popularity of Android smartphone clearly shows why it happend!

As per Strategy Analytics Linda Sui," Android's gain came at the expense of every major rival platform."

"Apple iOS lost ground on Android by dipping 12 percent of market share",she added.

Their are many cause of fall of iPhone due the time-- like Apple different controversies, Android Pixel's popularity, and many more. All the other smartphone rivals like Blackberry, Microsoft, etc manage to cover only 1% unit of smartphone shipped.

About 375 million smartphone units shipped in third quarter of 2016, In this 87,5 % operates on Android and 12.1% operates on iOS. Shipments of Android smartphone rose 10.7 percent, while Apple fells 5.2 percent.

Google had done something for which Microsoft is not happy!

On 31st October,2016 Google disclosed about major bug in Windows  PCs publicly. As per Google, they detected some major vulnerabilities in Windows PCs and Adobe Flash. They mail both Microsoft and Adobe about those vulnerabilities via mail on 21st October, 2013.

Adobe had fixed their bug on 26th October, 2016. But Microsoft still not do anything for it.

As per policy of Google, after 7 days they discloses the vulnerability publicly to save users from the hackers. As Google said,"The hackers are actively exploiting user data from their PCs, and Microsoft is not doing anything to fix it.".

The bug affect the Window Kernel, a deepest and most privileged part of operating system and can be used to escape security sandbox, or tool designed to isolate malicious code. "It can be triggered via win32k.sys system call NtSetWindowLongPtr()  for index GWLP_ID on window handle with GWL_STYLE set to WS_CHILD",Google said.

Normally Google waits 60 days before making such bugs publicly. But seeing the vulnerability on large section of users Google  decided to disclose it earlier.

What is Hyperloop and how it will change the world?

Hyperloop is a dream of SpaceX founder Elon Musk. He want to change the way we travel between major cities of world. It is just reinventing the transportation by eliminating the barriers of time and distance by using Hyperloop transportation to transport humans and good immediately, safety and sustainably.

The concept of Hyperloop was first mentioned by Elon Musk in July 2012 at PandoDaily in California. The name suggest that the transportation is done at hyper-speed and it travel in the loop. He said that the time taken to travel major cites which are 900-1500 km in distance and probably takes 5-6 hrs to travel, with help of hyperloop we can cover those distance in 15-30 minutes. One idea to develope hyperloop is that Elon Musk want to take hyperloop transportation on Mars. This is because, Mars atmosphere have 1%  density as that of Earth so their is no need of track on Mars, they only need to build the track.

Well, first demo of hyperloop world had already seen in Nevada. It runs with speed of 116mph in 1.1 seconds(watch the video below). Still their is long way to go.

No More To Fake Reviews And Rating Of On Google Play Store.

We are seeing many applications on Google Play Store which doesn't have good performance, not having good user experience but still have good ratings. Most prone area of such applications are food ordering apps, car rental websites,movie review website,etc. . These applications are more possible causes of fraud and spams.

To overcome this problem Zomato intoduce project Wrap which can distinguish between fake and real reviews on the application.

Similarly Google announces its initiative to curb frauds and put spam filters, to pronounce more genuine apps. Google want to tackle applications and developers which do have high rating but dosen't have technical useful features. 

As per written in Android Developer blog "These attempts not only violate the Google Play Developer Policy but also harm our community of developers by hindering their chances of being discovered or recommended through our systems. Ultimately, they put the end users at risk of making wrong decisions based on inaccurate, inauthentic information."

Moreover,the developers who violate these terms and conditions, their app will kicked out from Play Store. These services also helps to maintain the integrity in the Play Store as well as stop user to being the victim of fake apps. As for user, one not to worry about anything as Google is doing all this for them only.

Theory Proved: Scientists induces superconductivity in non-superconductors.

In the 1970s, for the first time physicists introduced the conceptof superconductivity. The theory state that superconductivity could be induced at the point where two different non-superconductive material are enjoined, the interface.

Several decade earlier, scientists for the first time demonstrated the concept of superconductivity. This sudden progress can commercialize the superconductors in near future.We already demonstrated some of examples of superconductivity in MRI Machine and maglev trains.

"Superconductivity is used in many things, of which MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) is perhaps the best known," said lead researcher Paul C. W. Chu from the University of Houston.

But superconductor could revolutionise the whole range of other industries also. It could make our electricity grid more efficient. Right now, when electricity is transmited from electricity grid to our home it looses 10 persent of the energy on its journey. But superconductivity wouldn't loss any energy so companies can provide more electricity without producing extra energy.

One reason to why superconductivity is not commercialize is- unable to achieve critical temperature at room temperature. Even the best superconductor have critical temperature of -70 degree celsius , and it is not efficient according to industrial point of view.

The scientists of University of Houston uses calcium iron arseinde(CaFeAs2) , a non-superconductor.

"The present work clearly demonstrates that high Tcs in the well-known non-superconducting compound CaFe2As2 can be induced by antiferromagnetic/metallic layer stacking and provides the most direct evidence to date for the interface-enhanced Tcs in this compound," the researchers write. 

To verify what was happening, the Houston researchers worked in ambient pressure and used undoped calcium iron arsenide.

They then took the material and heated it to 350 degrees Celsius to achieve a process known annealing, where the material cools slowly after being heated.

This process caused two distinct phases in the calcium iron arsenide to occur as it cools unevenly.

While neither of those two phases were superconducting, the team was able to detect superconductivity at the point where the two phases coexist - proving that the interface hypothesis is real.

The calcium iron arsenide achieved superconductivity at around 25 Kelvin, which is roughly –248.15 degrees Celsius, so it's still not going to be of much use for industry.

Actual goal is still very far away but it is promising step towards developing cheaper and efficient superconductor.
